One of my favorite series!
I enjoyed meeting the heroines and heroes in this series and visualizing the town of Solvik through Mette Barfelt’s superb writing skills. She has a unique ability of describing scenes, personalities, and plot twists. Barfelt has created distinct characters in every tale, which is not an easy feat, and each story depicts their qualities remarkably well.
The Solvik Series revolves around seven genuinely believable characters, most of them family members, facing life-changing dilemmas. You’ll read about heartwarming second-chance romances, new career opportunities, and many descriptions of foods and treats. The Norwegian Christmas traditions in book seven were a delightful bonus, as were the recipes at the end of each book.
Each novel is a standalone read, but I recommend reading this sweet romance series in order … I wouldn’t want you to miss one moment of these entertaining, small-town love stories.
