I loved everything about this book – from the wonderfully descriptive setting to the realistically woven storyline.
Through Frost’s superb writing skills, I felt as though I was joining Iris in her journey to finding her true self: whether or not to put her own aspirations before those of others who might not have her best interests at heart. I haven’t been to Amsterdam, but I could easily visualize Iris’s apartment, the quaint snowy scenes, and the plethora of canals. The Christmas shops and the wonderful cafes sounded delightful.
The Amsterdam Affair is more than a heartwarming story. It is a story of self-discovery, personal growth, and following your dreams and one that I highly recommend!
